Catch Me In the Kitchen
You may not be able to travel to every country, but your tastebuds can!
Three and a half years in the making, I am so happy to finally share with you that my second book with National Geographic, Catch Me in the Kitchen: One Dish From Every Country in the World, is available for preorder! While the book will not be in your hands until January 26, 2027, preordering a book is really important to authors because it sends a message to the publisher and the market that people are excited for the book!
This is the first cookbook of its kind, and with 195 recipes, it puts every country on equal footing so recipes from Peru, Italy and Japan are sitting alongside recipes from Chad, Tuvalu and Bhutan. The dishes are diverse, including: 42 red meat, 37 seafood, 32 chicken, 32 vegan, 27 desserts, 19 pork, 11 vegetarian, 3 breads, and 1 rabbit.
And of the 195 recipes I highlight my favorite 75 dishes, which sounds like a lot but the book is so delicious, I couldn’t cut my list any further, so please don’t ask me my favorite! But some of those favorites include Yakitori and Yaki Onirigi from Japan, Pan Chicken from Jamaica, Knafeh from Palestine, Cardamom, and Butter Cake from Somalia, and Pomegranate Chicken from Iran.
From today - June 26th, Barnes and Noble is running a sale which gives you 25% off the preorder so please order a book and one for a friend! I appreciate your support.
And if you haven’t bought tickets to the Supper Club launch in Detroit where we will be enjoying a delicious Lebanese lunch, please do so today! Tickets are selling quickly. Stay tuned to this page for all up coming dates.
Thanks for being here with me!
Be well. Travel well. Live well. Until next time: catch me if you can!
